CHEESY LOCAL VALENTINES

FarmShare and the The Wine Spot have everything you need to say I love you the local way this Valentine's Day! We carry a seasonal selection of locally made, artisan cheeses from a variety of Ohio cheese makers.  In honor of Valentine's Day, we've made some tasty cheese and wine matches for you and your valentine to enjoy.
Bloomfield Brie from Mayfield Road Creamery
Partner this dense, creamy brie with champagne, sparking wine, or a beautiful, locally-made Chardonnay from Markko Vineyards.

Siberian Night from Mayfield Road Creamery
This aged, washed-rind, cow's milk cheese is made with Thirsty Dog Brewing Company's Siberian Night stout. It tastes great with it's namesake or your favorite dark draft.

Headwaters Tomme or Moraine from Kokoborrego Cheese Company
We suggest enjoying these two tangy, cow's milk cheeses with hard cider or a local Pinot Gris from Harpersfield Vineyard.

Artisan Chevre from Lucky Penny Creamery
Pair this fresh, creamy goat's milk cheese with a fruity rose. Or, if your valentine prefers red, try the lovely, locally made Chambourcin or Pinot Noir from Saint Joseph Vineyard.

Also in stock, whole grain crackers, made by Crumbs Bakery in Athens and sweet spelt crackers made by Stutzman Farms in Ashland. We also have a limited supply of cherry preserves from Abby's Kitchen, a delicious and unique addition to any local cheese board. And much more!

I hope you'll stop in and say hello sometime soon.

Happy Valentine's Day!
