FarmShare Delivery for January 30, 2013

The first FarmShare offering for 2013 is scheduled for next Wednesday, January 30 and offers you a delicious introduction to eating locally in the winter. For this delivery, I've selected a variety of products from Breakneck Acres, a small, certified organic farm in Ravenna, Ohio that grows specialty grains, heirloom beans, and produce. Ideal foods to warm us on these extra chilly winter days.
You'll have the opportunity to try two varieties of Breakneck Acres' heirloom beans -- perfect for hearty winter stews and soups; freshly-milled whole wheat flour for baking; cornmeal for polenta or grits; buckwheat flour for pancakes, and more. To spice things up a bit, I've also included a selection of spices from The Spicehound. And, of course, you'll receive The FarmShare Kitchen newsletter filled with seasonally inspired recipes for using these wonderful ingredients.

This is an ideal way to try out Breakneck Acres' products and stock your pantry with wholesome ingredients for healthful, hearty, winter meals.
