Celebrate Cleveland Beer Week

In honor of Cleveland Beer Week we have a lovely addition to our cheese line-up this week at The Wine Spot.

Siberian Night is a French countryside-style cheese made by Mayfield Road Creamery in Orwell, Ohio. This cheese is made from raw cow's milk and aged for four months. Cheese-maker Susan Morris uses locally brewed Siberian Night Imperial Stout from Thirsty Dog Brewing Company in Akron to wash the rind of the cheese, imparting the cheese with its unique flavor as it ages. 

This is just the kind of local collaboration we like to see. And as one customer put it, "Hey, you get to enjoy your beer and your cheese in the same bite".

Also, from Mayfield Road Creamery, we're pleased to welcome back Bloomfield, a creamy Camembert-style, bloomy rind cheese that melts in your mouth.
